The manufacture of high
quality industrial rainwear has been a specialty of Utility Products since
1977. We are not the usual rainwear manufacturer in that we do not
maintain an inventory stock position. Rather, upon receipt of a purchase
order, each rainwear garment is manufactured in a timely fashion in
accordance with the user's specific requirements. This approach insures
each customer the receipt of freshly manufactured garments - not something
that's been sitting on a shelf gathering dust.
Fabrics we use in the manufacture of rainwear resist mildew, abrasion,
static, hydrocarbons and temperatures from -20° F to +120° F. All
fabrics have been treated with flame retardant. PVC, nylon rainwear is
utilized for general-purpose economical protection against inclement
weather. Polyurethane, nylon rainwear affords for flexible, lightweight
comfort in the wind and rain. Neoprene, nylon rain gear is more suitable
for hard daily use in construction and maintenance work and occasional
protection from harsh chemicals. The nylon base material in these fabrics
provides extra strength against snags and tears.
Other features include snaps and sliders that are non-conductive,
spark proof and non-corrosive. All rainwear is machine washable using a
mild detergent. Retro reflective striping and materials are available in
any configuration to provide the wearer with high visibility garments when
required. All fabric, component parts and finished garments are
manufactured in the USA. Utility Product's rain gear is guaranteed 100%
waterproof. We also offer a one-year warranty against defects in materials
and manufacturing workmanship.
Options available include zippered front, cape vented back, take-up
snaps, pockets, underarm vents, elastic cuffs, reflective striping and
silk screening.
Utility Products, on a national basis, provides rainwear to State
Government DOT's, Prisons, State Police, Cities, Fire Departments and
various business organizations and groups. Our services are engaged
through competitive bidding on annual contracts as well as one-time
orders.
