Harris Manufacturing proudly offers contract spreading and cutting services.  These services are provided at either a flat hourly or per-piece rate.  Our spreading and cutting facilities utilize Gerber Garment Technology™ state of the art equipment including:
      *One S5200-medium ply conveyor cutting system
      *Two S7250-high ply conveyor cutting system
      *One DCS2500-single ply static cutting system

Our Spreading capabilities include 3 fully automatic GGT Synchron™ cradle spreading machines capable of handling rolls up to 500 pounds and widths up to 72".  Both cutting and spreading systems are lateral drive allowing them to move between 4 air flotation spreading tables.  These systems have the capacity of spreading and cutting multiple plies of a range of fabrics from spandex to Kevlar™.

The spreading and cutting systems are driven by two GGT Accumark™ marking and grading systems equipped with both digitizing and plotting peripherals for pattern input and checking.

Harris Manufacturing also has both die cutting and slitting/rewinding machines.  The slitting machines are capable of converting wide rolls (up to 72") into rolls as narrow as 5/8".

Harris contract cutting has worked in conjunction with major companies assisting in their production of such products as medical kits, hats and protective body wear for the military.
