Since 1972 Harris Manufacturing has manufactured a broad spectrum of quality items for government and industry including
chemical protective clothing and military products. Our specialty is the manufacturing of cut and sew items to rigid
specifications using textiles and/or rubberized fabric. Additionally, we have broad experience in both rubber cementing
and RF heat sealing. Harris Manufacturing maintains a complete facility for the manufacture of cemented and oven cured
rubber products. Harris also has performed many development projects for the military and commercial companies.
These included product design, improvement and final prototypes. We also specialize in contract cutting and contract
sewing, and have expanded our line of inflatable rafts, tents, and baby accessories.
Chem-Tex, an affiliate of Harris
Manufacturing, specializes in manufacturing and sales of reusable chemical
protective clothing, hoods and suits, and other chemical protective
apparel and accessories. Chem-Tex also has a service for the
inspection and repair of chemical suits.
